This is the story of a late-19th century Lebanese house located in Dlebta, a scenic Lebanese village in the heart of the Keserwan area. The purpose of this intervention is to rehabilitate the original house and to create modern functionalities, including new living areas, a basement and vertical circulation. Traditional Ottoman-era features such as the “Moucharrabieh”, are preserved, highlighted and placed in dialogue with novel materials to support and enhance usability.
