DESCRIPTION

Le Péché is a distinctive circular building that was originally constructed in 1991. Our architectural approach focused on preserving the iconic character of the rotunda while transforming its terrace into a serene seaside oasis that harmonizes with the restaurant's Mediterranean identity. The design is characterized by a palette dominated by shades of white and complemented by accents of pastel green and blue. They evoke the tranquil ambiance of the region. This color scheme not only enhances the building's appeal but also seamlessly integrates it into its coastal surroundings. Central to our design concept was the selection of vegetation. Olive, lemon and orange trees were strategically planted throughout the terrace area. The selection infuses the project with the essence of Mediterranean landscapes.  Furthermore, and to parallel the lower floor level that is used to access the shore, a bridge is cantilevered out of the upper floor and outreaches towards the bay of Jounieh as a suspended belvedere. This was done with the hopes of reinforcing the bond and fusion between the visitors and the immersive natural landscape. The next phase will focus on revitalizing the rotunda itself. Our goal is to further strengthen its connection with the sea, ensuring that every aspect of the restaurant embodies the spirit of its coastal location.
