The “Notting Hill” project is a townhouse situated in the heart of Notting Hill, London, UK. The primary objective of this endeavor is to expand the residence to provide additional living spaces for the expanding family. The task presented a unique challenge: to increase the footprint of the house without compromising the scenic backyard views enjoyed by the residents. Thus, the concept of incorporating a green roof for the extension was born. Furthermore, the existing floors have been reimagined to create more inviting spaces, fostering enhanced visual connections and elevating the overall user experience.
